About us
We are a small organizational productivity and health firm dedicated to helping teams enhance their communication across disciplines, bringing clarity and a holistic perspective to their collaborative efforts. Our approach fosters innovation by guiding teams to continuously improve their workflows and solutions while teaching both teams and individuals the principles of productive and healthy work habits.
Play&Tell started as a mindset that we wanted to bring to teams when we worked together. It was the simple idea of making everyone feel safe and comfortable while collaborating, which is why we say “play,” and empowering the mindset that everyone has something to tell, avoiding giving voice to only a few in the room. We bring that collaborative mindset into the space when we start working, especially with our products.
We started by selling card decks that encourage transparency and collaboration between people. Today, some of those card decks have turned into books and even workshops. We also offer coaching and work closely with organizations for months to help them solve problems, implement new processes or improve old ones, and train teams and leaders.
We are very passionate about the role we play in these organizations and have two intentions with everything we do: 1) that we always bring value in every interaction and 2) that we don’t create dependencies; you can learn the concepts, frameworks, and mental models so you can grow and transform on your own.
Play&Tell was founded by Ro Fernandez, who is the primary speaker and leader in the organization. She collaborates with speakers and other facilitators in the industry to make this possible across the globe and provide more fun workshops.
