OKRs

Label: Strategy | Planning

Define your long-term goals, your values and help leaders and teams set their OKRs together.

Steps:

STEP 1

Define your value proposition

Our [Service/product/company] helps [customer segment] who want to [job-to-be-done] by [reducing/avoiding….pain] and [increasing/enabling…gain] unlike [competing value proposition]

STEP 2

Define your core values and team norms.

What are the consistent, accepted behaviors of your team members? How would these values help you define your company’s culture?

STEP 3

Objectives

Define your company objectives along with measures to determine if you are making progress. Explore new ideas and opportunities.

STEP 4

Team alignment

To ensure we are all aligned, each department will create their own Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Each of these objectives needs to contribute to the shared overall strategy and company objective.
Notes:💪👇
Each of these objectives will have measurable key results asociated with each objective.
These key metrics will help the team visualize how they can contribute to the overall company strategy and objectives.
  • Objectives should be ambitious, similar to a BHAG.
  • Objectives must be specific, measurable, and relevant.
  • OKR’s are public to the team.
  • OKR’s include the Objective, the key result and your target.
